We love root beer floats, my husband grew up calling them Black Cows, whatever name you use, what could be better than a creamy cool drink on a hot summer day?
One of my childhood favorites all grown up! It is also so pretty it would be great as dessert at a summer party.
Nice to drink on a summer evening when friends drop in.

Definitely going to try this recipe, it looks amazing. Creamy French Vanilla ID, can't get any better with root-beer, well maybe with some Vernors too!
Sound like a treat Mother and son both would enjoy!!! The vanilla would add an extra special something to the summer treat.
Yummy for your tummy. A super fun way to bring a gigantic smile to a face.
My husband's favorite dessert is a Root Beer Float I was looking on line one day and saw this recipe and thought I would try to surprise him with something new. So later that night I made him this, he not only devoured it, he had another one. I have never seen him have 2 floats within 10 minutes of each other. Of course he wanted to know what was the "secret ingredient".. when I told him that it was our coffee creamer, he about fell out of his chair. He has never had a "regular" root beer float again. He will only have it this way! And the best part is that I didn't have to go buy extra items at the store, because French Vanilla is our coffee creamer. Thank you I.D. for bringing this tasty dessert into my life!
Very creamy and delicous!!! A must try!!!
Great way to make a Black Cow / Rootbeer Float! Love it.
