Puffed Rice Donuts

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan, then stir in marshmallows over low heat until fully melted. (This can also be done in microwave).

  2. Turn off heat and pour over cereal in large bowl, mixing until cereal is well coated. Allow to cool slightly for several minutes.

  3. Use greased hands to press handful of cooled mixture into circular cookie cutter. Press into donut shape and use your finger to create hole in center. Place on wax paper-lined baking sheet to cool completely.

  4. Melt candy melts or chocolate chips and creamer in shallow bowl, stirring until smooth. Dip each completely cooled "donut" in glaze and top with sprinkles. If glaze starts to thicken, microwave for several seconds to thin it out again.

  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 (10 oz) packages mini marshmallows
  • 5 cups cocoa flavored puffed rice cereal (about 1/2 of a 15-oz box)

Glaze

  • 6 oz (1 cup) candy melts or chocolate chips
  • 2 Tbsp International Delight French Vanilla coffee creamer
  • Rainbow sprinkles
